The latest expression of Phantom Drophead Coupé demonstrates a more relaxed and less formal side of Phantom. The signature hood is made from five layers of material including cashmere, making it both quiet and luxurious when the top is raised.
Phantom Drophead Coupé is ideal for social and sporting occasions, offering a versatile boot with space for a hamper and comfortable picnic seat for two adults. Even when the hood is lowered, there is still plenty of space for weekend cases or a set of golf clubs in the luggage compartment.
The newly updated central console presents everything within easy view and reach so you can concentrate on driving. You now have the option to choose a full metal fascia or to match it to the veneers that run through the rest of the interior.
The new Adaptive LED Headlamps light up as soon as the engine is started, giving Phantom a unique look that is instantly recognizable by day or night. The light clusters have a glowing bar of LED Daytime Running Lamps through the center, with dipped and high beam functions illuminating the top and bottom sections.
You can choose from 12 different wheels, five designs with up to three finishes, each with their own special character. All our wheels feature our unique self-righting wheel centers that always display the Rolls-Royce monogram the right way up.
Phantom Drophead Coupé’s optional brushed steel bonnet features a hand-applied brushed finish, which gives the bonnet a soft sheen. Accentuating the lines of the car it creates an unbroken flow of bright steel that runs from the grille, around the A-frame windscreen surround and along the waistline of the passenger compartment and tonneau cover.
The muscular aluminum V12 engine offers effortless power, and the new 8-speed gearbox offers a greater choice of gears, reduced CO2 emissions with better fuel consumption. The two additional gears accentuate the feeling of smooth, endless acceleration from standing or at speed.
Phantom Drophead Coupé features a new infotainment system to make every journey more enjoyable. The new 8.8-inch front monitor gives you a clear view whether you’re using the new hard drive-based Navigation system on the road or watching a DVD while stationary. The redesigned Rotary controller puts everything at your fingertips for effortless operation. The smartphone cradle, USB and Aux-in options all offer improved connectivity to keep you in touch with your world.
New camera systems offer all-round views of Phantom Drophead Coupé. The front/side cameras offer clear views of the road in either direction when you are exiting a junction. The rear and top views make parking and reversing simple – the rear camera has a path prediction setting to guide you. The top view shows a 360 degree view of the car from above so you are aware of any potential obstacles in all directions.
